Foulou - you need to also Refresh your Templates.

In the ACP goto Styles > Templates > Refresh Template and it should appear correctly. You need to do this with each change you make to any template/theme/image file for it to show up.

I suggest that if you want to have a mini calendar, to use the one provided by Board3 Portal. I took the code from calendar.html and pasted it in the mini_calendar.html so the events appear under the mini calendar.
