Oh dear, I'll get on that right away.

I believe there was a bug when updating from a certain RC version to gold, or a certain chain of updates to gold that did not flag any accounts as "founder" this meant that some users could not install/update portal using PInUp.

We will be releasing a new version today, 0.2.1. This update fixes a few bugs and makes some of the background work more efficient. Changes since 0.2.0 No longer required to be a founder to update/install, just an admin with "board" permissions. Fixed a news/announcements permissions bug. ...

No, there is currently no option to turn off the portal, other than removing the redirect to the portal.php file and undoing the edits to the files.

That .htaccess would make your browser go to index.php first and completely disregard portal?

I'd have to agree with wolferey here, the current action seems odd to me too.

Logging in redirects you to "portal.php" which works if you have portal.php in the defualt location but not otherwise, I'll fix that.

Logging out on the other hand doesn't have a "redirect" flag, and so goes to the forums index page. :/

Those are some pretty cool features you've suggested, I'll chat about it with the other devs and see what they think.

Iain, other than the bugs in the mod I had to fix I've got it running ok, so what is it you want? Just a few recent uploads from everyone? I'll have to play around with things 'cause of the different gallery/guest options.
