Tried re-upping the php.ini and that didn't do it so I just went with option 3 and commented out the line.
Worked like a charm.

This won't effect anything, right?
Just checks for updates or something of the sort? Or what?

I was able to get the IP from just a ping like I thought I could.
But now I need to edit ventrilo_srv.ini and don't know how.

Don't even know where it is.
Can I do this from RCon?

How do you convert a vent hostname (ex v01.darkstarllc.com ) into an IP address?

I don't see this noted in the instructions and a regular ping in CMD prompt using that IP + my port doesn't work. so.
