Managed to clean up some of the stylesheet issues with the news section (the topic title was unreadable). I essentially ditched the cellpic they had and just locked the news to 1 row scheme (they had alternating row schemes based on the topic row number). Still trying to figure out the cell spacing ...

tried what you suggested but that was for phpbb2 and there is very little help with doing it for 3. it worked sorta, but there were permissions issues and it seems like trying to sort out the permissions issues was kinda a pain. opted to suck it up and just keep 2 independent forums.

trying to make this work as well. included an image so you can see whats going on - gonna keep cracking away at it.
