For some reason the files where on the server and in the right location. I verified if it was the correct file and content.. it still wouldn't work.
I had both EN and NL language files installed.
I removed the files and reinstalled them.. now it is working..

Hi I have this same issue however when I only open the breadcrumbs.html file it seems that it is correct. but it still displays as in thepicture in in the first post in this thread.
