For each box there is an option in the ACP (.MODs --> Portal) to disable it. Why don't you use it? Just a few clicks and it's done. It sounds to me like you don't have executed the installer for the portal. Otherwise you should see the ACP options for the portal. yeah he could do so, but he mention...

Hi MarkDome, once you have uploaded the portal files (in the style folder) to your server they will be cached (if default settings are used). Then you have to edit the files though your ACP -> Styles -> Templates... I had the same problem at the start - i tried to change something in the files, even...

Ahoy, what i recognized myself is that the flash code is not w3c compatible - so I searched for a solution and found this site http://www.alistapart.com/stories/flashsatay doing the stuff mentioned there makes my site again w3c valid - and i didn't have recognized any troubles with the spacing even ...

depends what you would like to customize.
Mainly you need to adapt main_menu.html file if you want to add or edit the entries. Or if you want to change the look then you need to edit the stylesheets (make new one or use existing ones or remove the stylesheet references from the html).

So weit wie ich das sehe ist das Block-Innenleben aber nicht HTML konform.
Außerdem hast du doch in deiner Seite schon ein <body> Element - ich würds mal probieren, wenn du aus dem body auch ein div machst. Vielleicht gehts dann besser...
