I have installed a new board to customize, which will eventually replace an old phpBB2 board I run on another site. I have installed the portal and all seems fine with look and feel if I run Subsilver2. If I switch to prosilver there are no borders around blocks. I am sure I have missed something but can not find why.

The other small problem in SubSilver2 is there is no link from the board index to the portal, there is in prosilver.

Grateful for any advice please

You forgot to do the edits to the styles/prosilver/theme/stylesheet.css.
And / or to upload the changed file or to purge your board cache / refresh the theme.

Many thanks, had to refresh the theme and purge the cache. Looks good now.

About the link on the forum back to the portal. In the edits there is nothing to add this to the overall header in Subsilver2

Yes, that is coorect - some of the things have to be done in the breadcrumbs.html in subsilver2: portal_docs/xml/subsilver2.xml#styles/s ... rumbs.html

OK thanks, I see the instructions for installing but that was not with the download. I assume therefore there is another styles download complete with the included files. I have searched the board but have not been able to find the board3 Portal - subsilver2 style mod.

The Team decided that there wont be any premodded Styles available for Download. You can only watch the Styles section of this Board for adapted install instructions of several Styles.
But since subsilver2 and prosilver are included to the download Package, you wont find these two Styles there
