I am not quite sure if you already took this into consideration: I think it would be nice to include and implement categroies to the "Links" block. With the possibility to set several categories in the ACP and use them for the Links Block (and/or others as well)...

What do you think?

I'd say: not a bad idea, put it as a feature request into our bugtracker as a reminder.
Because we have a feature freeze now for the upcoming version 1.0.3, as we are now heading to release it soon. And it has grown to a bigger update over the months.
