Es hätte zwar eine Möglichkeit gegeben die Links zum Portal nicht anzuzeigen aber man hätte immer per manuellen Eingabe im Browser das Portal aufrufen können.

Das Portal für einen Style abzuschalten ist nicht möglich. Da bleibt dir oder dem Style Autor nichts anderes übrig als es kompatibel zu machen.

Das Thema im ersten Link von dir bezieht hier auf das Board und nicht auf die Extension selbst.
Als damals die neue Version veröffentlicht wurde gab es noch kein PHP 8.3

Go to ACP/Extensions/Portal/Portal Modules click on "Add module", select there "Custom Block"
Under "Activate BBCode for the custom block" set to no then place your iframe code in the input field.
