Portal page and forum page - different blocks configuration

Hi,
First of all I`d like to thank you for your Board3 Portal mod. It`s very nice and simple but I would be very grateful if you can tell me the simplest way to use use other blocks configuration for using forum page instead of Portal page(how to split cofiguration of blocks for 2 pages)
the welcome page is portal.php and it`s configured properly
now I would like to copy portal.php to for example portal2.php or forum.php and make in the center of the page forum list block instead of news(in original portal.php)
